How HR can help with employee engagement results?
HR can implement a Fun Friday program. With only 15 minutes a week, groups and organizations can increase their engagement.
When I took over a team, it surprised me at the:
high turnover rate was for their employees
the low productivity
a low employee engagement
We implemented Fun Friday where every Friday we took 15 minutes and we performed team-building exercises. No one was forced to join, but even the people that didn’t join increased benefits. Every 15 minutes on a Friday, we played games and just did something fun to get to know one another.
We became so good at it we could get our green belt certification through Six Sigma and then we became the team that everybody wanted to model after, even in other sites.
